1. Who we are and what these terms cover
These terms apply to every order you place with GiftsByFjolla ("we", "the studio") through our website or our apps for Android and iPhone. The business behind GiftsByFjolla is [to be completed], [to be completed], business number [to be completed]. All contact details are in the legal notice.
You can order as a guest. You don't need an account, and we never take payment online.
The Albanian version of these terms is the binding one. The English and German versions are translations for your convenience.
2. How ordering works
- Upload your photos. You choose photos from your phone or computer. They are sent straight to our private storage.
- Choose your prints. For each photo you choose the size, the paper, the number of copies and how the photo sits on the print (filling the print, or the whole photo with white space). You can crop, rotate and add a white border.
- Enter your details. Your name, phone number, delivery address and, if you like, your email address.
- Check and send. You see every print, the price of the prints and these terms. Until you press the final button you can go back and change anything, and nothing is binding.
When the contract is made. When you press the button marked "Order with obligation to pay", you make a binding offer to buy the prints shown. We confirm on screen straight away that we received your order and, if you gave an email address, by email. The contract is made when the studio confirms your order. The studio can refuse an order, for example when a photo breaks rule 5, and will tell you if it does.
Your record of the order. After ordering you receive an order number and a private tracking link. The link shows the status of your order at any time. You can save or print these terms from this page.
Languages. You can order in Albanian, English or German.
3. Prices and payment
- Prices are shown in euros. They include VAT where it applies.
- The total you see when you order covers the prints only.
- Delivery is arranged with a courier, who charges the delivery fee separately when the parcel arrives. The studio does not set or collect that fee.
- You pay the courier in cash on delivery. We never ask for card details, and nobody from the studio will ever ask you to pay online.
- The price that applies is the one shown when you sent the order. Lower prices for larger quantities or packages are applied automatically, using the cheapest combination.
4. Delivery
- We deliver to addresses in Kosovo, in the municipalities offered at checkout.
- Printed within 1–2 working days, then handed to the courier.
- The courier contacts you on the phone number you gave. Please make sure someone can receive the parcel.
- Once the parcel is handed to you, the prints are yours.
5. Your photos
Your rights. You keep every right to your photos. By uploading them you confirm that you are allowed to have them printed: you took them, or the person who owns the rights agreed, and the people shown in them would not object to a print.
What we do with them. You give us permission to store, process and print your photos only to carry out your order. We never use them for anything else: not for advertising, not to train software, not to show anyone outside the studio.
What we won't print. We don't print photos that are illegal, that violate someone else's copyright or privacy, or that sexualise children. We may refuse or cancel such orders, and we report material that is clearly illegal to the authorities where the law requires it.
6. How long we keep your photos
Every photo is deleted 7 days after it finished uploading, whether or not it was printed. The details are in our photo retention policy. If you want the same photo printed again later, you will need to upload it again.
7. Quality, colours and resolution
- Screens and paper show colours differently, so a print can look slightly different from your screen. That is not a fault.
- While you choose sizes, we calculate how sharp each print will be. If a photo has too few pixels for the size you chose, we warn you. If you still order it, a softer print is not a fault.
- With "Fill the print", the edges of a photo that has a different shape from the print are trimmed. The preview shows exactly what is trimmed.
8. Cancelling an order
Prints are made from your own photos to your choices, so the statutory right to withdraw from a distance purchase does not apply (Kosovo Law No. 06/L-034 on Consumer Protection, Article 49; for customers in the EU, Article 16(c) of Directive 2011/83/EU and, in Germany, § 312g(2) no. 1 BGB).
The studio still lets you cancel free of charge until printing has started. Contact us with your order number by phone or email (see the contact page). Once printing has started, the order can no longer be cancelled.
9. Faulty prints
If a print is damaged, printed in the wrong size or on the wrong paper, or differs from what you ordered, tell us within a reasonable time after delivery, ideally with a photo of the print. We will reprint it free of charge or, if that isn't possible, refund what you paid for it. Your statutory rights for goods that don't conform to the contract remain unaffected.
Because photos are deleted after 7 days, a reprint is only possible while the photo is still stored. After that, we will ask you to upload it again.
10. Liability
We are fully liable for damage we cause intentionally or through gross negligence, and for injury to life, body or health. For other damage caused by slight negligence, we are liable only when we breach an obligation that is essential to the contract, and only up to the damage that is typical and foreseeable for an order like yours. Mandatory consumer protection law always applies and is not limited by these terms.
Please keep your own copy of every photo you upload. The studio is not a backup service and deletes photos after 7 days.
11. Apps for Android and iPhone
When our apps are available, these terms apply to orders placed in them in the same way. The apps are free. Apple and Google are not parties to these terms and are not responsible for the apps or your order; their own store terms apply to downloading the apps.
12. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms, for example when the law or our service changes. The version that applies to your order is the one shown when you sent it. Each version carries the date at the top of this page.
13. Law and disputes
These terms are governed by the law of the Republic of Kosovo. If you live in the European Union or another country whose consumer protection rules cannot be set aside by agreement, you keep that protection.
If something goes wrong, please contact us first; most problems are solved quickly. You can also complain to the consumer protection authority in Kosovo. The European Union's online dispute resolution platform closed on 20 July 2025, so there is no link to it.
